He brings a potent combination of business, technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial abilities. He has developed world-class organizations that have designed innovative products for large enterprises, cloud, and service providers, resulting in long-term differentiation and revenue growth. He has vast experience raising capital and building productive teams and customer-partner ecosystems.
Varna Kadambari
Chief Experience Officer
Varna Kadambari has over 25 years of experience in healthcare technology. as a consultant, employee and entrepreneur delivering solutions in the areas of HIM, EHR integrations and data conversions.
She possesses strong Subject Matter Expertise in the HIT space and has worked with major health systems and healthcare software vendors nationally. She recently expanded the executive team to include the best of Silicon Valley technologists and entrepreneurs with a mission to innovate the SurePatient portfolio of products into a data management platform focused on delivering excellence in patient outcomes.
Parshant Jain, MD
Chief Strategy Officer
Parshant Jain is a three-time entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in start-ups. He is experienced in health technology, technology leadership, and digital products, with a demonstrated history of working with Global Fortune 50 companies and start-ups.
Parshant has a medical doctorate in orthopedic spinal surgery.
Parshant lives in California with his teenage son. He takes great delight in cooking fine cuisine and hiking.
Bobby Gupta
Advisor
Bobby brings over 25 years of global sales leadership experience in enterprise software ( cybersecurity, analytics, storage ) and IT services market with a vast network across the US, Asia Pacific, Europe & Middle East markets. Bobby is an investor, advisor, and expert in launching early-stage startups worldwide. Bobby has held several senior management positions overseeing sales, operations, market development, and organizational change. Bobby, in the past, served as SVP of Sales at Virsec, VP of Sales Asia Pacific at Guavus, SVP at Tech Mahindra, and Associate Partner at IBM Global Services. Bobby has been part of M&A, and Global Transformation Teams & is experienced in selling large complex transformation deals and has led global sales teams. Bobby is B.E ( Electronics & Instrumentation ) and MBA from QUT Australia. Bobby is a charter member of TiE Silicon Valley, a member of the Australian Venture Capital Association ( AVCAL), and on the advisory board of several start-ups.
Layton Welborn
Senior Healthcare Technology Consultant
Layton Welborn, Chief Architect of the Medarcus legacy archive solution and is one of our Sure Patient developers. Layton holds experience that includes enterprise wide data conversions which include clinical and financial data from legacy EHR’s and clinical systems to most major EHR’s. Layton’s most recent experience is supporting Medarcus clients nationwide and with Scripps Healthcare based in San Diego, California. Layton is Epic Bridges Certified.
Rao Gattupalli
VP Engineering
Rao Gattupalli is a seasoned engineering leader who has held a variety of engineering leadership positions in the areas of networking, data center, and cyber security. For over seven years, he was responsible for all of Cisco’s Load Balancer products as Director of Engineering. Before this, he was the Director of Engineering at Netiverse, which was acquired by Cisco.
Rao was the co-founder and VP of engineering at Appcito, where he was responsible for the industry’s most versatile SaaS-based cloud-native application delivery system. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Engineering at Virsec Systems, where he was responsible for full-stack cyber security solutions for various private and public cloud environments. Rao graduated with a B.Tech in Electronics from IIT Madras and MS in EE from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Hope Ballard, RHIT
HIM/MPI Lead
Hope Ballard has 12 Years of HIM/MPI experience and is a credentialed RHIT. Healthcare is her second career as she spent 20 years home teaching her three children.

Hope has been with Medarcus since 2020. She is the team lead for MPI clean-up projects, having managed a 12-member team for our most recent client. She is currently a student at the University of Cincinnati online on the road to her Bachelor’s in HIM and her RHIA.
Hope lives in Alabama with her husband and their dog. She has three adult children and several grand-animals. She enjoys spending time with her husband, reading, studying (HIM, of course), crocheting, and shooting her bow.
Gregory Pohodich
VP Sales
Greg Pohodich has over 35 years in technology and consulting sales, focusing on healthcare for over 20 years. He has worked with companies like Nuance, 3M, and GE.

Greg enjoys water, whether stream, lake, or ocean, because kayaking and fishing are two of his favorite past times. Living in the Orlando, Florida area makes it easy to enjoy both. Having Disney World in his backyard makes it an excellent place for a lovely evening walk.
